Major Features Added
The National Association of Small Trucking Companies (NASTC) and NAStek National, LLC, a national provider of management software to trucking companies, announce a joint effort to provide credit monitoring and load costing products.

This joint product allows users to retrieve credit ratings on prospective customers on-line quickly and at reasonable prices.

A major feature that has long been needed in the trucking industry is the ability to calculate the cost of delivering a load. Costs change daily based on fuel and other factors can change on every load based upon which driver and tractor are selected. Prior to this Lane Cost Analysis, customers might have a reasonable expectation of their overall cost but little real time, day to day knowledge about costs in a given lane.

MYSTC captures 15 variables, including fuel and driver costs to provide a reliable estimate on a lane by lane basis.

MYSTC president Bobby Harter says,"In this economy, the ability for trucking companies to monitor the credit ratings of their customers is critical. These products combined, allow a cost effective method for trucking companies to both monitor their customers and to determine the profitability of the shipment."

The credit information and the lane cost analysis elements are the two basic functions which will make up a NEW MODULE of MYSTC that will not require the full implementation of MYSTC as a company's software system. The next elements to be offered will include EDI capability, CSA 2010 Monitoring, and Truck Posting.
